TeePee Creepers

When a child vomits, many parents panic. After all, it could be an infection or food poisoning that could lead to dehydration, so take immediate action. Let's talk about what to do when your child is vomiting.
Causes of vomiting in a child.
Your child may be vomiting for several reasons. To determine the true cause, you need to remember what the child was doing in the hours leading up to the disease. Based on such observations, a correct diagnosis can be made, which means that the treatment will be correct, and the baby will recover quickly.
Vomiting may occur due to:
intestinal infection (may be caused by stale food, green or unwashed fruits); severe nervous system disorder (fear, severe disorder); diseases of the central nervous system (usually the child is worried about frequent headaches, fever, vomiting); metabolic disorders (vomiting due to malnutrition); diseases occurring in the digestive tract; ingestion of a foreign body into the stomach; infectious diseases.
What should I do if my child is vomiting?
It is best to seek help from a pediatrician right away, but if for some reason this is not possible, you should help the child from your own resources. Place the child on his back so that his head is slightly higher than his body so that he does not choke if vomiting continues.
Be sure to give your child more fluids to drink, as vomiting can lead to dehydration. If he refuses to drink, ask him to tell him that he will feel better soon.
To restore the electrolyte balance, you need to give your baby special medications. Possible:
Regidron Smekta Enterodesis.
Regidron is the best at controlling vomiting. He just doesn't like the taste, but the child should be given a teaspoon of the solution every 5 minutes if he is 3 years old, and 30 ml every half hour if he is 3 years old or older. A weak solution of potassium permanganate also helps.
If the child also has a high fever, the following medications are recommended:
Nurofen Kalpol "Panadol".
If your actions have not brought relief to the child, you should call an ambulance, as vomiting can be a symptom of a serious illness that will not go away in a few days. This requires special treatment, which should be prescribed only by a doctor.

Diet for vomiting.
To alleviate the baby's condition, you need to ensure that he adheres to a diet. He shouldn't give it to him.;
Carbonated tea drinks made from cow's milk; broth; rice broth.
These liquids only make dehydration worse. If the baby feels better, you can give him a glass of freshly squeezed juice and vegetable or fruit puree, baked apple. It is better to abstain from solid food for several days, as this will cause discomfort. As a result, vomiting may occur again, which means that you will have to start treatment again.
On the third day, it is allowed to eat porridge with rice puree, as well as kefir and fermented dairy products - only on the fifth day it will be possible to cook steamed children's dishes - meatballs, meatballs, fish. Do not forget about porridges: buckwheat, rice, oatmeal, boiled in water, will only benefit him and will not cause discomfort. Do not forget to make sure that your child drinks more liquid than filtered water, and he will recover faster.
